Our support crew are super important to making GRR going. Most positions are perfect if you have limited time during the week. It can also work well with a mentorship role if you plan to be at camp full time. All support crew must pass a criminal record check to volunteer.
MUSIC EQUIPMENT AND AV KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
The tech co-ordinator is responsible for assisting with all aspects of musical equipment and gear for camp. This includes securing and managing gear rentals, co-ordinating movement of gear during camp at thecamp venue and the showcases. This requires (with help) breaking down and setting up full band set-ups twice a day. You should also have some tech know-how to help with projectors, video and any of our A/V needs. This position is a full-week commitment.
Tech co-ordinator must be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5pm and at the Saturday Showcase.
Preference will be given to volunteers who self-identify as female, trans or gender non-conforming.
Knowledge of music equipment preferred
Gear Crew is vital (and super awesome)! We need folks to help set up, break down, and move equipment throughout the week. Responsibilities include setting up the camp site, reconfiguring rooms for band practice every day, helping with load-in/out on showcase days, etc. Familiarity with musical equipment is a plus, but not required. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds on a regular basis throughout the week. Please also let us know if you're available to help with the showcases on the Saturday evening.
NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Not able to commit a full week but want to come help out? We need folks to sit at the front desk, lead snack patrol, hall monitors, get crafty and anything else we can thing of. And if you’re not busy, you can join in the fun! We also need bodies to set up/breakdown, take tickets and more for the Saturday showcase
Multiple shifts will be available camp week and during the Saturday showcase.
